How to Request Account Deletion
To delete your EPickup Driver account and associated data, please email us at:
Email: epickupofficial@gmail.com
Subject Line: "Account Deletion Request - Driver App"
Required Information
Please include the following details in your email:
- Your registered phone number
- Your full name (as registered in the app)
- Your Driver ID (if available)
- Confirmation that you are a Driver Partner
- Reason for account deletion (optional, but helps us improve our service)
What Data Will Be Deleted?
Once your account deletion request is verified, we will permanently delete the following data:
Account & Profile Information
- Driver account profile (name, email, phone number)
- Profile photo
- Firebase authentication tokens and credentials
- Device authentication identifiers
- Driver verification status
Identity & Verification Documents
- Driving License (photo/image)
- Aadhaar Card (photo/image)
- Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC Book)
- Vehicle Insurance Certificate
- Vehicle photos
- All verification document images stored in Firebase Storage
Vehicle Information
- Vehicle registration number
- Vehicle type and model details
- Vehicle year and specifications
- Insurance details
- Vehicle photos
Location & Tracking Data
- Background location tracking data (when online)
- Real-time location updates
- Location history during active trips
- Navigation routes and trip paths
Booking & Trip Data
- Trip history and records
- Customer contact information from past trips
- Pickup and delivery addresses
- Trip status updates
- Delivery verification photos (pickup and delivery)
- Trip timestamps and durations
Financial & Earnings Data
- Wallet balance and transaction history
- Per-trip earnings records
- Daily, weekly, monthly earnings summaries
- Commission deduction records
- Payment collection confirmations
- Note: Earnings records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and accounting purposes as required by Indian law
Communication Data
- Real-time chat messages with customers
- In-app chat history
- Push notification tokens
- Support communication records
- Booking-related SMS/notifications
Real-Time Services Data
- WebSocket connection data
- Real-time booking request data
- Online/offline status history
- Real-time location broadcasting data
- Active booking tracking information
- Work slots and availability data
App Settings & Preferences
- App settings and configurations
- Notification preferences
- Work slot preferences
- Online/offline status settings
- Cached data and local storage
Data Temporarily Retained
Some data may be retained for legal, accounting, tax, or operational reasons:
- Earnings records: Retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes as required by Indian tax regulations
- Trip records: Retained for 7 years for accounting and tax purposes
- Payment records: Retained for 7 years for financial record-keeping
- Completed delivery receipts: Retained for accounting and dispute resolution (up to 7 years)
- Fraud prevention logs: Retained to prevent abuse and ensure platform security (up to 180 days)
- Document verification records: May be retained longer if required by transportation authorities or for regulatory compliance
- Legal compliance records: Retained as required by applicable laws and regulations
Note: After the retention period, this data will also be permanently deleted, except where longer retention is required by law.
Processing Time
Account deletion requests are processed within 7–14 business days from the date we receive your verified request.
You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted.
Important Notes
Active Bookings
If you have an active trip or booking in progress, please wait until the delivery is completed before requesting account deletion. We cannot delete accounts with active bookings for safety and operational reasons.
Wallet Balance
If you have a wallet balance, please ensure you withdraw or transfer your earnings before requesting account deletion. Once your account is deleted, any remaining wallet balance may be forfeited or processed according to our terms of service.
Real-Time Services
When your account is deleted, all real-time services will be immediately disconnected, including:
- WebSocket connections for booking requests
- Real-time location broadcasting
- Online/offline status
- Active booking notifications
- In-app chat sessions
- Work slot availability
Document Verification
If your account is under verification or has pending verification, the deletion process may take additional time to ensure all verification processes are properly closed.
Cannot Be Undone
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once deleted, you will need to go through the complete registration and verification process again if you wish to use EPickup services in the future.
Alternative: Data Export
Before deleting your account, you may request a copy of your data, including earnings history and trip records. To request a data export, email us at epickupofficial@gmail.com with the subject "Data Export Request - Driver App".
